Confused about MLA format?

The thing I'm confused about is the internal citations (or is it embedded citations?). If all the sentences in a paragraph come from the same source, do I really need to have the same citation after each of them? I know that if a citation is the same as the previous one we're supposed to use that Ibib thing, but that just seems weird. Do I really have to do that or is there some way I could have the citation at the end of the paragraph?
