What to do about my friend?

I think you should tell her because I think the best relationships start out as friendships!!! I think you should tell her how you feel!!!!!! But now here's the flip-side of it you don't want to be her rebound guy either so the best advice I can give you, is follow your heart!!!!!! Your heart will always tell you the right way to go!!!!!!
